Ramsey Animal Clinic is highly skilled at effectively diagnosing and treating your pet with the best possible medical technology. Our staff offers the extensive experience and advanced training to detect and treat diseases and conditions at the earliest stages for optimum results.
We evaluate each patient thoroughly, formulating an appropriate treatment plan for your pet. Our veterinarians are trained to diagnose and treat cases involving disorders of the following systems:
Some of the tools our staff uses to diagnose these disorders include X-rays, endoscope, and ultrasound. Our therapeutic services are used to treat a variety of patients including those with cancer, diabetes, and hypothyroidism, as well as Cushing’s and Addison’s disease.
Gastrointestinal disorders are diseases or conditions of the digestive tract. The areas of concern include the stomach, pancreas, liver, gall bladder, colon, and small intestine. Gastrointestinal disorders may include pancreatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, and obstructions due to swallowing non-food items.
Symptoms of gastrointestinal concerns include vomiting, diarrhea, weight loss, and loss of appetite. Examinations are typically performed with the aide of ultrasound, X-rays, or the endoscope.
Laparoscopic surgery involves inserting the endoscope into the body through a small incision or natural body opening. This minimally invasive procedure allows us to diagnose, repair, and address issues including foreign body removal and taking biopsies.
As an essential business, Ramsey Animal Clinic remains open and we are taking all the necessary precautions to maintain the health and safety of our dedicated team, patients and the community. At this time only staff members are permitted to enter the hospital. Emergencies, drop offs, appointments, discharges and Rx pick-ups must be coordinated by phone from our parking lot. Additionally, we ask you, our clients, for everyone's safety, to please wear a face covering whenever you are interacting with a member of our team. We appreciate your patience and support as we navigate this outbreak.
